My e-mail friend is Sini Aloija. I think I am very lucky to have such a
nice e-mail friend. She writes nice letters and she likes a good laugh. That’s
the way I like it. She says she finds it a bit hard to write letters in
English, but I think she writes better and with less mistakes than I do.
I thought in the beginning that there only were tall girls with long blond hair in Finland. I was so wrong; Sini has short red hair, and isn’t tall
at all.
I think the Finnish people are quite like us (the Belgians). Just like most
of us they like to go to parties, having fun, practising some sports and being
with friends.
Her school is Sipoon Lukio, in English Sipoo`s high school. They even have a
site: http://www.sipoonlukio.fi.
Most Finnish people like sauna, skiing and hitchhiking. They like to walk into nature. She likes her country and that’s no wonder if you know that
they
have winters with lots of snow, and summers that aren’t so bad at all.
I think the e-mail-project is a very cool idea. It’s nice to chat with people
from other countries and very instructive too.
