To be honest, I don't really like my correspondent. He doesn't write me back, and if he does, it takes weeks and weeks.
I guess in Tienen we would call him 'ne Johnny'! He likes fast cars and treats girls like trash. His favourite music is commercial house and he really likes the song by Anton aus Tirol, when I read that, I knew enough!
On the other hand, I really like this whole corresponding idea! It's nice to learn something about this other culture. And through emails! I think that when you regularly write, a real friendship can develop. But then your partner has to write back and you have to like him/her.
It's really a nice idea, may be it would be even better if we actually could meet those pupils, after e year of sending letters.
I wish I could tell more, but I only received two mails. But I also think he has his proper reasons!
